Variations on a theme

Playing around with my Cricket palm press some more. Drypoints made with plexiglass plate. Getting used to the plastic and the press and wiping and different papers. Which gives me some prints to play around with. Two of these with watercolor added. Each image is 4x4.5in

The Ray Gun

2015-16, oil on panel, 12x16in.

A bit of an anomaly, this painting has been in my studio for a year, in various states, when the other day, after what was already a productive afternoon, I dipped back into it in a careless, offhand way. Next thing I knew it was practically finished. And then it was finished, and with a bit of a change from the source material. Not sure where it stands otherwise or what it means to my other work, but I like its juiciness, both in paint quality and color.
